Photographs of Whitby – Seaside Ruins and Inspiration for a YA Fantasy Series

A few years ago, my fiancé and I traveled to England. Whitby stood out as one of the most picturesque locations I have ever seen in my life. Yorkshire, as a whole, is very beautiful.

Here are nine photographs of Whitby that served as inspiration for the novels in my young adult fantasy series A Thousand Watchful Eyes, particularly the serial novella The Staghorn Crown.
